Shekhar Eye Research invites applications from interested, deserving, and qualified candidates for its PhD and Doctorate Programs in Optometry.

This is an online education program affiliated with a university in the United States, designed for working professionals seeking advanced academic and clinical excellence.

Program Structure

• Online classes conducted once a month

• Curriculum-based learning with guided academic progression

• Candidates will undertake a research thesis on a subject of their choice (subject to university approval)

• Academic guidance and mentorship will be provided by Shekhar Eye Research

• A minimum of two scientific publications is mandatory for eligibility for the final degree and convocation

Eligibility

• PhD Program: Minimum qualification – M.Optom or equivalent

• Doctorate Program: Minimum qualification – B.Optom with at least 5 years of clinical experience

Duration

• Minimum: 2 to 3 years

• Maximum: 6 to 7 years

Fee Structure

• Application Fee: ₹96,000/-

• Tuition Fee: ₹2,70,000 per semester (each semester of 6 months)

Additional Information

• All academic work, clinical experience, and data collection will be conducted within India

• Expenses related to attending conferences, workshops, or additional academic activities will be borne by the candidate
